What is the nivioCompanion?
The nivioCompanion is tiny computer with a BIG difference. It’s a cute, compact, simple and affordable computer.
 
 
Do I need to have a nivio account to use the companion?
Yes. You need to sign up for a nivio account to use the companion. This can be done once you turn on the Companion. You get a free trial account for 1 Month, after which you will need to subscribe to nivio after which you will need to subscribe to the nivio service. Whats in the Box?
The nivioCompanion, a power cable, mouse, keyboard and the user guide. Monitor is optional.
 
 
What do I need to get started?
You need the nivioCompanion, an Internet Connection, Monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Step 1: Connect the Mouse, keyboard, Monitor and Internet connection to the nivioCompanion.
Step 2: Sign up for a nivio account
 
 
Do I need to install windows on the nivioCompanion?
No. You need to sign up for a nivio account on the companion. Once you have a nivio account you will get access to nDesktop – an online version of windows.
 
 
Can I Install software on the companion?
Through the companion you get access to nDesktop, where you can use nivioCenter to install and rent applications. nivioCenter is nivio online application library, we have a variety of applications to choose from. If an application is not listed you can request for the application to be added to the library.
 
 
Can I use the Companion without an internet connection?
No. The nivioCompanion requires an Internet connection to operate.
 
 
How do I track my order?
Once you place an order for the Companion you will be given a tracking number, you can email us your tracking number to get further details on your order.
 
 
Can I return the Companion?
Yes, If you have not opened the box for the companion it can be returned, however there will be a 25% cancellation and restocking fee.
